Here I was thinking I was an asshole to the one person on my team who DOESN'T WANT TO LEARN and I realized it is actually empathy. I love helping people, teaching someone a new skill is an amazing feeling, but someone who just wants to get their job done and doesn't care how it's done is not interested in the knowledge you'd like to share. "Next time your talking to someone who you perceive is above your level and you get the urge to smack them for being an asshole, take that as a compliment that they recognize that you have skills and ability and that they think you could achieve more."
